Saturday 6 July is the official launch of the Summer Reading Challenge 2024: Marvellous Makers, so make sure you visit your local library to collect your FREE Summer Reading Challenge pack and pick your books (let’s get started!). The Summer Reading Challenge is all about capturing children’s imaginations and encouraging them to discover the joy of reading. As children make their way through the challenge they can receive stickers and medals to mark their achievements (all totally free!).
This year’s theme Marvellous Makers is all about creativity and Herefordshire Libraries have free drop in events this Saturday. There’s lots going on around the county from rocket building and science experiments, to mini zine making and more! To find out more visit the Herefordshire Libraries Eventbrite page.
The Summer Reading Challenge 2024: Marvellous Makers is presented by the Reading Agency and delivered in partnership with libraries.
