The Herefordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) will shortly be consulting and agreeing a framework for future engagement with the HSCP and voluntary, charity and social enterprises (VCSEs) in Herefordshire.

The HSCP is responsible for making sure that all agencies work together to safeguard children, and is led by three Safeguarding Partners: Herefordshire Council, the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, and West Mercia Police. 

New statutory guidance – Working Together 2023 – has provided an opportunity to revisit how VCSEs are to be included within the HSCP multi-agency safeguarding arrangements so that there is effective communication and service development.
