We’re delighted to announce that the Baton of Hope, a national suicide prevention initiative, will be coming to Hereford on Thursday, 2nd October 2025. This inspiring event aims to raise awareness about suicide and mental health, provide support to those affected, and educate communities across the UK and Ireland.
First launched in 2023 with incredible success, the Baton of Hope is going even bigger in 2025, with 20 host locations taking part across the country. Hereford’s involvement is a fantastic opportunity to highlight this important cause and extend outreach across the county.
We’re proud to be working with a range of local organisations to support this initiative, including Herefordshire Mind, We Are Farming Minds, The Cart Shed, Hereford City Council, Yeomans, Halo Leisure, Herefordshire FA, The Kindle Centre, The Courtyard and NMITE.
If you or your organisation would like to be involved, or if you’d like more information, please contact [email protected]. You can read more about the Baton of Hope on the Talk Community Directory.
