The following Household Recycling Centres will be open from Saturday 9th May:

Hereford HRC, Chapel Road, Rotherwas

Leominster HRC, Bridge Street, Leominster

Opening hours will be 8.00am to 6.00pm and they will both be open 7 days per week

The other Household Recycling Centres in Kington, Bromyard, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye will remain closed for the time being, until available staffing resource will permit these sites to reopen as well.

Residents will be asked not visit a Recycling Centre unless it is ESSENTIAL to do so. Essential means that it is waste that cannot be safely stored or managed at home without causing harm or risk to health.

Information is now available on the Herefordshire Council website, www.herefordshire.gov.uk/recycling – we have issued a press release and social media messages to let people know about the limited service and what to expect if they do choose to go.

We are anticipating both sites to be very busy and have put in place traffic management to help manage long queues and waiting times.
